A Personal Message from Michele

Dear Friends,

I have known some of you for many years and feel a loss that time doesn't allow for more frequent contact with all of you.  Because time places some distance between all of us, I have decided to develop a newsletter to keep everyone advised of what has been going on with my work.  As many of you know, I have established a business called Divine Inspirations and in the spring of 1999, my first book, Visions from Mary was published honoring the feminine Divine principle of the Blessed Mother.  This book, which has been very popular with my clients, is still available and a review can be found on this website.

This month (October 2000) my second book was published, Echoes in the Wind: Messages from the Tribes of the Nation.  Back in 1997, as Visions from Mary was reaching its final stage, during one of my walks in nature I heard an audible voice say, "I am Red Cloud."  I had sent donations faithfully for years to the Red Cloud Indian School, along with other Native American Indian foundations in the west, but it had never occurred to me then that Chief Red Cloud was a living, breathing Oglala Lakota (Sioux) Indian who lived in the 1800s.  This communication started a 3-year project with the Lakota (Sioux) Nation that developed into a painting of Chief Red Cloud and my new book, Echoes in the Wind.

When I started on this journey 10 years ago, I was able to do personal one-on-one reading for many of you; however the time arrived that I had to delay readings for as long as three months because of demand, preparation time and energy. As time progressed and the requests increased, I added the in-home groups sessions to use my time more wisely.  This allowed me to accommodate 10 times as many people in just one session and reduced the cost per person.  Even now, 5 years into these group sessions, my calendar is getting very full and I need to schedule several months ahead.  Since the initiation of the in-home group sessions, lectures have also been added to my schedule.  I have been instructed by spirit to add a larger, group format so that the messages can be spread at a much faster pace.  I will continue to honor the individual reading requests, in-home group sessions, lectures, and workshops as time permits.  I want to thank and take time to honor each and every one of you for your support and understanding during this journey.

Echoes in the Wind

Messages from the Tribes of the Nation

Michele A. Livingston’s new book Echoes in the Wind - The tribes of the Nation, Volume 1 the Lakota (Sioux) Nation will be available in October. This is the first in a series of channeled books on Native Americans by Michele.  In this first volume, Michele talks with Chief Red Cloud and several of his contemporaries from the Lakota tribes of the American Northwest including Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, and Black Elk.

This project all began when, during a meditation in 1997, Red Cloud appeared to Michele (who is an internationally recognized artist as well as a visionary) and asked her to paint a picture in honor of the Lakota (Sioux) Nation. After providing her with details of the items he wanted her to include in the painting, Red Cloud proceeded to provide details of the Lakota culture and their invasion by the white man.

It soon became evident to Michele that she was on her way to compiling material for a book on Native American culture and customs. What wasn’t immediately apparent to her was that this was not going to be a book on the Tribes of the Nation with several paintings (similar in concept to Visions from Mary) as she had first assumed. Instead it was going to be a series of books with each one devoted to a different Native American tribe!

Echoes, Volume 1 is nearly 100 pages of intriguing messages about Native American life, culture, rituals, and spirituality along with guidance for spiritual growth in the new millennium provided by the Lakota spokesmen in their own words. Included is their own heart wrenching stories of painful encounters with the white man as they invaded the Lakota territories in the plains and the continued hardships they face today with their life on the reservations.
